The walls of the room are entirely covered with pine while pieces of Dutch furniture stand in the middle of the room. A mirror across the table reflects the spectator's image.
The skull of vanity is also part of the scenery, but here it is an animal skull echoing our own animality.
Loud-speakers, hidden in the walls, emit a poetic interview about the forest. This interview was recorded during a meal organised in the installation with local inhabitants. It is accompanied by sounds collected in the environment during the residency : fire, bees, rain, etc.
